Ewert and The Two Dragons is a folk-rock band from Tallinn, Estonia. The line-up consists of vocalist Ewert Sundja, guitarist Erki Pärnoja, drummer Kristjan Kallas and Ivo Etti on bass, guitar and other instruments. Their debut album "The Hills Behind The Hills" was released in autumn 2009 and since then they have taken the Baltics by storm. Some critics have titled them as "the crown jewel of Estonian music", Finnish music magazine Rumba was stunned by their performance at the biggest Baltic music festival Positivus in 2010, calling them "the best band at the entire fest" where they were on the line-up alongside Muse and Scissor Sisters.

Ewert Sundja, Erki Pärnoja and Kristjan Kallas are old time friends who started playing together in 2008 for couple of concerts where they mostly played covers of Sting, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and others. Soon the trio decided to start writing their own material and it resulted in the release of their debut album "The Hills Behind The Hills" in autumn of 2009. When the band started to perform live, Ivo Etti joined the group.

Band gained instant recognition and intimate and emotional concerts in the clubs of Tallinn and Tartu were sold out. In May 2010, the Dragons started their first Baltic tour and gave concerts in Tallinn, Tartu, Riga, Sigulda, Liepaja and Klaipeda.

On May 25th 2010, Ewert and The Two Dragons had the privilege to be the opening act of TEDxTallinn conference starring the brightest Estonian thinkers, artists, authors, scientist etc.

On the 17th of July 2010, under the pine trees and summer sky of Salacgriva, Ewert and The Two Dragons gave a stunning concert at the biggest Baltic music festival – Positivus.

On the 25th of September, Ewert and The Two Dragons signed a record deal with Latvian indie label I Love You records. Second album "Good man Down" was released on the 5th of April 2011 and received wide critical acclaim and to this day is enjoying commercial success, being one of the best-selling records in Estonia in 2011.

First single off the album, "(In The End) There's Only Love" gained momentum in all 3 Baltic countries and it was a breaking point in the band's career. Premiered in Estonia by Mart Normet on Radio 2 and in Latvia by Toms Grevins from Radio 101, the band was suddenly becoming a pan-Baltic indie sensation. The track was picked up by Estonian commercial radio stations in summer 2011 and peaked Uuno Radio Top 25 chart in September. It has been aired in many countries across the world - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, Mexico, Brazil, US etc.

In autumn 2011, Ewert and The Two Dragons performed in various European countries, also at the festivals like Popkomm (Germany), Waves Vienna (Austria) and Lost In Music (Finland). Ewert and The Two Dragons were also confirmed to Eurosonic Festival 2012 taking place in Groningen, Holland.
On November 9th and 11th, they had sold out shows at Nokia Concert Hall in Tallinn (capacity 1800) and Palladium in Riga (capacity 1000).

Ewert and The Two Dragons is the winner of Tallinn Music Week / Skype "Go Change The World" award of 2011.
